A good book and a bitter cold
Its bitter cold outside. Wind knocks up outside, sending the trees shaking and the owls hooting. Thankfully, the fireplace crackles in front of you, warming your toes while you flip pages in that horror novel you just picked up from the second hand book store. Was that just the neighbor chopping wood that you hear occasionally or could it be something more sinister?
