A storm outside the window
Rumbling thunder and soft wind blows the leaves of the nearby trees. But you don’t have to worry about the storm that manifests outside on the other side of the walls. For you are tucked away inside, safe. As the wind surges through the trees and the lightning strikes outside, it’s almost comforting in the silence indoors. You don’t really need a fire to feel cozy. It’s more comfortable to notice the storm, the different pieces of it, how the bugs and animals are silent and unmoving, not wanting to get washed away; how the rain falls onto your window where they could race their way to the bottom, with you as the referee.
It’s just you and the storm. Do you need anything else?
There’s been a lot of thunderstorms going on where I live, and when it isn’t storming, sometimes I miss the abundance of thunder, so I wanted to recreate that as well as I could
