i choose the lady or the tiger because it was more suspenseful and face off a mysterious vibe. For example, at the ending of the story they didn’t tell us if he got ate by the tiger or lived to be with the other lady and that’s left us confused so basically a cliffhanger. i think what he was trying to say was that you should have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time i think this because he goes to the door she tells him too which means he trusts her even if she might point him to the tiger
