The Beginning of a Thunderstorm

Have you ever taken the time to listen to the sounds of the weather in preparation of a thunderstorm, slowly getting fast by the minute? That feels like the best time to stand out in the balcony or pop your head out the window and see the raindrops falling and listen to the thunder bangs and the cold wind brushing against the greenery outside.

You first hear the wind softly blowing through the trees and the distant sound of rolling thunder. You look out through the window and see the clouds heavily grey, slowly moving with the wind. Then there is a thin streak of lightening, following which you hear the thunder a bit louder than before. Soon it begins to drizzle. You stretch out your hands to feel the tiny drops of cold rain touching your palms. The raindrops begin to grow in size within a few minutes, falling at a faster speed. Then you see lightening slash through the clouds, much sharper than the first few you had seen, and within just half a second you hear a louder bang of thunder. Soon it is fully raining at a constant speed, with the sound of thunder and lightening adding to the wind, now turned into cold breeze.
