Snowy Mountain Travel
Lots of mountain wind, some soft horse sounds, and the sound of a carriage trundling along.
*Unmute channels 7 and 8 for thunder and rain respectively.*
Imystrahl, also known as the City of Gems, is a port city at the mouth of the River Mirar in the north of the Sword Coast. Upon its horizon line lays the Spine of the World - an incredible mountain range that spans the length of the continent. Its name comes from the natives of the region, as when the white snow blankets the peaks, meeting the iron-grey expanse above, it appears as though it holds up the very sky itself. These mountains hold a mystifying variety of gems and crystals, to which Imystrahl owes its entire economy.
Populated mostly by humans and drow, Imystrahl - its grey stone streets sparkling with ice, and snow gently caught by the bracing wind - is considered by many to be civilisation’s farthest reach.
You’ve arrived here on the journey back home from your last adventure. You’re about two hundred miles from Phandalin, and have decided to rest before continuing on. The gentle amber streetlights in the shroud of dusk welcome you in as you ride through the city gates. You can feel Sunshine growing weary, and Frog has been asleep, bundled up in his comically thick winter-wear, for a good few hours now.
