Summer Storm Through a Window
A distant rumble of thunder brings the promise of rain on a hot summer evening. The open window tempts a cooling breeze inside, and the cotton curtains begin to flutter and flap before the approaching stormfront. The familiar lullaby of birds and frogs from the nearby pond provide a soothing background for the rain that is now sputtering down the gutter into the barrel below.
